This accident happened at 178th St. and Yellowhead Trail this afternoon. I have never seen anything like this outside of a movie theatre.

He drove over 15 km, eastbound in the westbound lane on highway 16. Was he drunk? Stoned? Suicidal? He was killed, so I guess we will never know.

This is scary stuff…..

What was this guy thinking???? Let me tell you what he was thinking, ,, He wasn’t!! Mark was a type 1 diabetic as the whole world now knows.
I understand for all of you on lookers this was insane, but let me tell you, Mark was my fiancee, and what happened that day was and will always be, beyond tragic. He would have had no idea what was going on.
Eyes open, to a point, but not coherant to his surroundings whatsoever. I am just trying to give Mark some justice for a disease which ultimately took away his life, and the life we so loved.
He wasn’t able to think at that moment something diabetically related happened, and he had no control. Please for all of you that were there, keep in your hearts that Mark was a young man, with a family, and a huge heart, what you saw was a irreplaceable man tragically leave this world.. unwillingly.
